If you don’t live in the Pacific Northwest, you may not have noticed the little windstorm we had on Dec 14. That’s what the weather people called it… a “windstorm.” 90-100 mph winds. I think in Florida they call that a Stage 2 hurricane. We lost power for five days and many people still don’t have power today (Dec 24).
Because of this little breeze (and holiday stuff), I’ve been somewhat out-of-pocket. Imagine my surprise when I finally got back to the blogworld and found this neat little phenomenon running through the blogosphere called the Z-List. If you haven’t heard about the Z-List , you’re missing a great opportunity to view both the power of sharing as well as a great list of marketing/branding blogs you may not know about.
The objective is to help promote blogs that might not be as well known as some of the biggies, like heavyweights Seth Godin, Guy Kawasaki, and Duct Tape Marketing. I think Mack Collier started this whole thing in his blog The Viral Garden, but frankly I’m not sure. It’s easy to participate. All you have to do is copy the list below, paste into your own blog, and add any that you feel worthy. That’s it.
I haven’t had the chance to check out ALL these blogs, but the ones I’ve seen are very good. After Christmas, I plan to come back with a more detailed commentary on these, as well as personally thank those who helped put Two Hat Marketing on the list.

Thanks for the link to Own Your Brand: what a great idea from the mind of Mack Collier!
Two Hat Marketing is new to me – so that is a great find due to Z-list meme. Looking forward to getting some time to do the deep dive into your postings.
Kudos. Congrats! And thanks for the linkage.
Hi – thanks for the link. And yes, Mack Collier at Viral Garden did start all the link love with the Z list – an idea that sure has produced a lot of energy out on the web! Thanks for passing it along, and I look forward to browsing more through your posts.
Congrats for making the list and thanks so much link. Long live the Z-List! Best wishes from eSoup.
