Are you following rules of competition written by someone else? You might not think so, but you probably are. If you don’t break away from that trap you will be following them forever.
The thing to recognize is most “rules of competition” have, in fact, been written by someone else. Usually, they’re first movers who establish new markets. For example, who said our cars had to run on gasoline for so many years? Technology had to be developed for the combustion engine, just like it had to be developed for electric cars. But the first movers established rules early.
It’s not unusual for some rules to go unquestioned, because think they are like rules of Nature. They just are and so we follow them.
But then there are people, like Gwyneth Paltrow, who simply pay no attention to rules, or running bulls who don’t even know there are rules. What can we learn from them?
Watch this week’s UNCOPYABLE Business video and ask yourself, “Am I following unwritten rules? Is there a way for us to break them or even create new ones that will shift the advantage to our company?”

I think you missed the mark on this one. Using proven scam artist Gwyneth Paltrow in a business lesson just seems wrong.
Remember, this Hollywood actress posing as a business mogul owns a company (Goop) that advocates for women putting jade eggs inside their vaginas to “balance hormones and prevent uterine prolapse”, which, of course, is utter nonsense.
This gave me an idea how we can use our Amazon Live events. We can just take the video and embed it into our email instead of just sending the email
