My Jeep Grand Cherokee needed service. The air conditioning stopped working, so I took it to Bud Clary Auburn Jeep in Auburn, WA.
Big mistake on my part! Turned into a major hassle…took a bunch of my and my smokin’ hot wife, Kay’s time.
And it’s STILL not fixed.
Bud Clary Auburn made FIVE bad customer service mistakes. Don’t make any of these with your customers.

“They are very busy. There are a lot of people in line they need to talk to first” Ouch. That’s really bad
I know, Jason! That really floored me when she said it.
I’d throw a link to this video onto their Facebook page and make sure they see it. No business with any kind of decent reputation should be making all of these mistakes. We all get busy at times, but doing all 5 with one customer! Terrible. Good luck with your Jeep Steve! I bet another dealership will be very happy to help you out once they know your story.
Great idea, Mike! Thanks.
One of your best ever posts. Spot on and feeling your pain.
Always enjoy what you have to say.
Be UNCOPYABLE. Love it.
Thanks, Kevin. Now I have to drive to another dealer that’s 45 minutes away! Ugh. Hope they’re better!
Usually problems like this are a reflection of management priorities passed down through the ranks. I am curious, did anyone from Bud Clary management contact you after your visit?
Steve,
Nope, haven’t heard a word from them.
Good Afternoon,
I have just received the survey that you sent in and I am sorry that I have not had a chance to contact you. I have spoken to the Advisor and he has said that a previous diagnosis that was given to you by us was incorrect and that we did have to get a correct diagnosis prior to spending any repair dollars. I will get more information and attempt to contact you in the next day or two.
