Last week Steve shared and analyzed a campaign ad video that’s gone viral. As of today, Kimberly Klacik’s ad promoting her for Congress in Maryland has over 720,000 views on YouTube. (If you haven’t seen it yet, go watch it before watching this week’s video. CLICK HERE.)
After getting a number of additional lessons through BFFs comments, Steve went back and watched the video again.
He pulled out THREE more lessons. And they’re good ones!

Steve, when Klacik says “if politicians walked the streets like I do”, she was basically telling everyone, “hey, I’m NOT a politician…I’m one of you”. I am not a CNC machinist or tooling specialist by any means, but, we make a product that makes sense to me. I’m going to try to use that: I am not a machinist, but I know what makes sense.
I agree, Robbie!
Steve,
Great points!
We have been in business for 39 years. Kimberly’s point on Democrats in office for 53 years got me thinking. Use the same tactic but point it to our company.
Use the 39 years as a springboard to promote some the past and the future values, differentiations and innovations we bring and will continue to expand
Great thinking, Vic!
